Sean Hannity is the devil.

Watch this video of dissenters getting kicked out of the Sean Hannity "Freedom Concert". He's one of the few people in America that actually scare me. His show has no substance and is based on two people shouting at each other and then callers remarking on how the "conservative" (and I use the word loosely) guy was absolutely right and the liberal guy was absolutely wrong.

He is a brilliantly gifted leader with the resources of Fox News behind him. He controls an army of listeners who treat his word as gospel, and he mainly controls them by telling them that the evil Mainstream Media is out to get them.

He's definitely a bigger threat to this country than Osama Bin Laden, in my opinion.

Anyway, here's the video.

(It's at the top, on the right.)

I don't know. He's an idiot no doubt, but I think the wise equate him with Ann Coulter and the rest of that crowd.

In general though, why are the conservative "heroes" the ones who scare me the most? Is it because they use religion to sway the masses? It seems to me the one fault of Christianity is that Christians fear their own opinions and prefer to follow what they're told by "Christian leaders" like George Bush etc. They take what is said by conservatives as dogma, not the political nonsense it really is.

I like what Andrew Sullivan calls that type of "Christianity": Christianism.

Luckily, some Christian leaders don't believe in it.

I think the "heroes" are so scary because they represent the lunatic fringe. Hopefully most people see Hannity and Coulter as ultra-conservative caricatures.
